Are EPAL pallets always heat treated?
Understand the EPAL requirement and check the pallet you plan to use.
What EPAL requires
EPAL states that, since 2010, licensed production and repair operations must comply with ISPM 15 for EPAL pallets. EPAL uses heat treatment for this purpose. This requirement does not mean every old pallet bearing an EPAL logo can automatically be accepted for a particular shipment.
Check the actual pallet
